Our Opportunity
The Associate Director Quantitative Sciences is responsible for supporting the definition of valuation standards and performing valuation of complex financial instruments while bringing financial market knowledge to the IAA organization, providing quantitative and analytical expertise. The Data Management and Integration team plays an important role in transforming data into business value, supporting business strategies and decision-making.
Your Role
As an Associate Director Quantitative Sciences, your main responsibilities will involve:
Support and conduct valuation of complex and OTC securitiesSupport and conduct independent revaluation of EAM pricingUndertake independent analysis of prices and market activities in relation to financial productsProvide valuation and financial product review and insightsSupport the sensitivity analysis processSupport the operational fair value hierarchy classification process and coordinate stakeholdersSupport development and implementation of valuation standards within the IAA organizationProvide quantitative and analytical expertise to defined pricing, reference data, and accounting topics Your Skills and Experience
As an Associate Director Quantitative Sciences, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance or Mathematics/Statistics related fieldAdditional advanced degree in a related field (FRM, CFA, CAIA) is desirableExcellent understanding of Financial and Capital MarketsExcellent understanding of Mathematical and Quantitative modelsSolid experience in Market Risk management and Valuation of financial instrumentsStrong knowledge of traditional and non-traditional financial instruments and markets including structured securities and complex instruments like ABS/MBS, index-linked bonds, and syndicated loansProficiency level intermediate in programming is desirableExperience of Data Management/Investment Accounting systems would be a plusInnovative mindsetFluent in English Additional Information
