We have a position for a talented and motivated Product Manager who is skilled in artificial intelligence (AI) and operations research (OR). In this position, you will work closely with other Product Managers, with our team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, QA as well as our marine terminal customers. Delivering and scaling advanced solutions that improve/automate decision making across our portfolio of mission-critical products is what you will be focused on. Managing customer and partner relationships in order to provide the highest possible degree of service relative to our solutions is of utmost importance. The Product Manager role requires significant engagement with customers and stakeholders to understand the needs of the market.
Independent research and collaboration with Sales and Product Marketing are key in order to develop a clear vision of near and medium term demands, size of market opportunities, and potential white spaces for us to fill with our solutions.
Responsibilities Be the Product Manager for our AI/ML initiative.
Own the vision and roadmap of our AI Ecosystem.
Actively engage internal experts and customers in promoting capabilities and validating roadmap(s).
Monitor and understand industry and technology trends relevant to the marine industry.
Work with the Products & (AI) Engineering teams on developing new solutions and features.
Ensure scalability.
Maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
Work with our Quality Engineers to create meaningful test strategies for new features.
Lead the delivery of AI/ML use cases.
Actively participate in the downstream implementation process to drive customer success.
Work with key stakeholders across the company on go-to-market strategies and ensure successful (new) product releases.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research or related field. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years experience in software, including 3 years of experience in artificial intelligence and SaaS with a track record of bringing multiple quality products to the market and/or projects into production.
Success as a Product Owner in an agile development process.
Outstanding conceptual design skills, as well as interaction design best practices.
Self-starter, strong work ethic, team player and proactive approach to problem solving.
Ability to empathize with our customers to get to the bottom of problems, understand the use cases and deliver accurate solutions.
Experience working in or with automated container terminals is a plus.
Entrepreneurial focus on driving incremental product adoption based on customer value.
Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to present a quantitative case for product investment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
