YOUR FUTURE TASKSEnterprise Architects play a crucial role in orchestrating the development of a holistic enterprise architecture model that supports established enterprise goals.
SAP has strategically decided to significantly invest in an SAP Enterprise Architecture Advisory Team.
Being the blackbelt Enterprise Architect your primary task is to serve & guide all SAP customer segments on their SAP transformation journey, especially those initiating a RISE with SAP transition.
Our approach starts by comprehending their existing Enterprise Architecture (supported by tools like LeanIX or SAP Signavio), and then guides them towards a North Star target architecture state.
This ideal target architecture aligns their strategy and required business capabilities with SAP's solutions and adheres to a Clean Core backed by SAP's Business Technology Platform.
To support this approach, we utilize reliable and proven Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks.
With our approach we help SAP's customers achieve their strategic goals by enhancing their business transformation with our perspective on Enterprise Architecture and SAP's North Star target architecture.
This will facilitate innovation and the adoption of new business models and technologies, thus increasing the acceptance and usage of SAP's solution portfolio.
As we are responsible for the global Enterprise Architecture Advisory practice our team defines for EAs the role, methods, tools, content & enablement / community.
We are going to provide guidance & governance to external customers as well as for internal audiences. Being the thought leaders we will provide industry reference architectures or we define the future way of working as Enterprise Architect.
Digitization & Automation of EA services or EA activities will be another task we drive with our team. You are going to support the development of such a topic as subject matter expert.
By our approach we will have a very good mix between activities dedicated directly to customers and tasks dedicated to support & serve colleagues in our team and in regional teams.

YOUR PROFILEAt least 10 years of work experience in a customer experience role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect).Profound work experience as Enterprise Architect.Proven experience delivering Enterprise Business Transformation through Application delivery.Experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles as well as the usage of SAP LeanIX & Signavio as tools to document Enterprise Architectures & Business Processes.Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills (in English and German language) at senior manager level both inside an IT team and across business functions.Industry-specific knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Consumer Goods, Retail, Discrete Manufacturing, Process & Life Science Industries, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Professional Services, Public Sector etc.Professional Training & Certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect P SAPEA 2023, TOGAF) as a plus.ABOUT THE BUSINESS UNITJoin our dynamic team of SAP Enterprise Architects leading the charge in shaping tomorrow's digital landscape.
