This includes dealing with rapid changes, intensive networking, and an in-depth understanding of technology, the digital market, and the business model's value-added chain.Your RoleAs User Experience Researcher (UXR) at zooplus you will:Create Insights & Foster CollaborationYou'll help us understand our users even better as we grow by nurturing insights about them and aligning them with business needs.You'll play an integral part in gathering insights about user needs, attitudes, pain points, goals, emotions, and behaviors to inspire and inform design.You'll collaborate and work with stakeholders across functions and levels to create products that deliver value for our customers and our business.Use Methods & Research OpsYou'll explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research such as field studies, interviews, diary studies, participatory workshops, surveys, and/or usability testing.You'll conduct rapid research for the team and, in parallel, incrementally improve the scalability and efficiency of our research operations.Synthesize relevant research insights and collaborate with teams to make them actionable and influence the decisions made on product initiatives.Work with tools and services, such as Hotjar, Optimal Workshop, Adobe Analytics, RapidUserTesting, Quantilope, Figma and help to find new state-of-the-art tools.ResponsibilitiesResearch Activities and TopicsLead or support UX research initiatives by translating product objectives into purposeful research approaches, conducting interviews, workshops, and analyzing data from a variety of sources, to optimize how we capture the right level of understanding about user/customer problems.Experience designing, executing, and analyzing qualitative research and help elaborate and further develop our research repo and insight process.Strong analytical thinking, managing complexity, and project management skills.Evangelize UXStrong communication skills, with a creative and fresh approach to understanding and disseminating insights to strengthen UX's position.Work closely with other (UX) Researchers and/or cross-functional partners to plan and scope impactful research projects.Experience working concurrently with the product department.Enable colleaguesCreate and/or distribute process/method resources to the wider Product/UX team.Enable stakeholders (such as Product Owners/Managers) to conduct or support on (small) research projects themselves (surveys, interviewing, note taking).Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and verbal presentations.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Communication Design, Communication/ Cognitive/Learning/ Information/ Behavioral Science, Statistics, Psychology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in an applied research setting, including experience integrating user research into product designs and strategy.Experience with user experience research and experience working with UX/Product/Engineering teams and internal business stakeholders.Fluent in English and preferably other European languages.An intense curiosity to understand why people behave as they do.Preferred QualificationsMaster's or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, formulate conclusions, and present conclusions regarding business issues.Good working knowledge of quantitative research and the principles of experiment design.Experience with a wide variety of methodologies (e.g., qualitative, surveys, experiments, etc).
