The role reports to the IGNITE Programme Lead in Digital Services and is embedded in the Digital Services Leadership team.Accountabilities:Facilitate cross functional planning for the function (iterations, quarterly & annually)Coaching the members of the release train on lean/agile ways of workingOptimize flow & value of joined up delivery and establish a culture of continuous improvementsManage and coordinate budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decision making and reporting to stakeholders and review boardsManage relationships with business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to objectives. Responsible for steering/stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risksWork with Capability Leaders to define release plans, grooming and prioritizing backlogAct as release train engineer to the digital services teamFacilitate agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint RetrospectiveInfluence changes that sustainably increase scrum team velocityDrive effective risks & issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure these are resolved and escalate as appropriate.Establish governance with Head of Digital Services including cadence of meetings to review progress against commitmentsEssential Skills/Experience:Hands-on experience as RTE in an agile delivery environmentExperience working in a global organization and across cultural boundariesExperience of Programme Increment Planning and in Agile delivery methodologiesProven IT delivery experience, working in a matrixed teamWho you are:You are an excellent communicator; you have demonstrated skills interacting with leadersYou are a skilled influencer with positive relationship leadership skillsYou are curious, with an entrepreneurial attitude and the proven track record to craft innovative solutionsYou have well-developed organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal comms skillsYou can work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environmentYou take ownership for the successful delivery of initiativesDesirable Skills/Experience:Project Management certifications preferred (Prince2, PMP, MSP, Agile – Scrum, SAFe 5/6)Experience with planning tools (Jira, MS Project, MIRO)Experience with resourcing/budgeting and reporting tools (SNOW PPM)Technical, Science or Business degree (or relevant working experience in these areas)Don't meet every single requirement?
