The role reports to the IGNITE Programme Lead in Digital Services and is embedded in the Digital Services Leadership team.Accountabilities: Facilitate cross functional planning for the function (iterations, quarterly & annually)Coaching the members of the release train on lean/agile ways of workingOptimize flow & value of joined up delivery and establish a culture of continuous improvementsManage and coordinate budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decision making and reporting to stakeholders and review boardsManage relationships with business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to objectives. Responsible for steering/stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risksWork with Capability Leaders to define release plans, grooming and prioritizing backlogAct as release train engineer to the digital services teamFacilitate agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint RetrospectiveInfluence changes that sustainably increase scrum team velocityDrive effective risks & issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure these are resolved and escalate as appropriate
