If you're interested in the job and think you have what it takes to work at 2K, we encourage you to apply!What You'll Do:- Build and maintain technologies and art workflows (Environments, props, characters, shaders, lighting, and rigs).- Collaborate with Art and Engineering to drive research, identify new workflows, and technologies for improved pipelines and streamlined creation processes.- Solve technical issues related to rigs, animations, hair and cloth simulations, and performance capture.- Contribute to improving naming conventions within assets, tools, and workflows.- Collaborate with other technical artists daily to find opportunities for improved workflows and tools.- Partner with the engineering team to ensure build stability and maintain memory and performance budgets.- Learn from and grow with some of the top talent in the industry.Who Will Be A Great Fit:- 3+ years in the games, film, or animation industries.- Proficiency with C#/C++.- Understanding of Maya with significant experience writing animation, rigging, shaders, and UI tools.- Experience with cloth and rigid/soft body physics setup for characters, including collision volumes.- Conversant in Python, and familiarity with MEL Script/Maya API experience.- Experience with Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, Perforce, and Confluence
