.We are looking for a dynamic, business-savvy, and collaborative Junior Legal Counsel specialized in contract management to join our Legal Team based in Barcelona, under the direction of the Head of Contracts to influence the way we operate around commercial contracting, build agreement templates and playbooks, improve our contract management processes, tools and systems. If you're ready to soar, we're ready to take you there.What you will do:The Role's Key Responsibilities and TasksDrafting, review, and negotiation of a diverse array of contracts, encompassing NDAs, supplier service agreements and IT agreements, domestically and globally, with an approach that balances business and legal requirements.Identify legal risks associated with contracts and propose effective strategies for risk mitigation.Collaborate with internal teams, providing clear and pragmatic legal guidance throughout the contract negotiation process, contributing to informed decision-making.Conduct legal research on specific issues and provide clear and concise analyses to support decision-making.Communicate with external parties, including suppliers and partners, to negotiate contracts, contributing to the successful resolution of contractual matters.Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations impacting the travel and technology industries.Work together with our Procurement Team to maintain an organized and accessible repository of contracts and related documentation.Participate in the creation, development and enhancement of internal contractual processes.Contribute to the knowledge database for the contracts team.Prepare and review contract templates, the contract playbook, and other toolkits, communications, and training materials as needed.Explore the integration of legal tech tools, AI and other innovative techniques, such as agile methodologies, to optimize the workflow and enhance the quality of work outcomes within the contract team.What you need to succeed:Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Law from an accredited law school3+ years of combined experience working as a legal counsel in a law firm or corporate legal departmentFull professional competency in English and Spanish (French and Portuguese would be a plus)
