In this role, you will work closely with our customers, sales, finance and accounting teams.
This role is based in Barcelona and you will work with the whole finance team within South Europe and France.

At Oatly you are actively making the world a better place!Clear incoming payments on customer accounts and work in customer's portalsWork with AP to clear deductionsControl and manage vendor accounts in collaboration with AR AssistantClosely monitor customer balances resolve issues and ensure proper customer communication (collection and payment reminders)Reconcile customer accounts on a monthly basisEscalate and report on credit issuesMake sure that the flow of invoices is correct including coordination of EDI issues (escalate immediately)Perform relevant SOX controls (contract review – OTC02/ IFRS-15, preparer OTC-16,17)Support commercial controller on credit terms and support new customer set up & Maintain Customer Master data formHERE ARE THE THINGS WE THINK YOU NEED:Attention to detail is crucial for reviewing financial documents, detecting discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in credit transactionsThe ability to analyze financial data and trendsEffective communication with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders and have the ability to set and achieve targets relatedProblem-solving skills are essential for identifying root causes and implementing effective solutionsA degree in economics / Accounting and at least 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Controller, AR or in a similar roleA solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
