In this role, you will manage the operations and results of the ALUA hotels in your region, adhering to the Company's strategy, policies and procedures, as well as the quality standards and brand attributes, in order to obtain the maximum return on investment, satisfaction of clients and staff members.A successful Regional VP- Operations will:Hotel ManagementPerformance Management:Continuously track revenue stream coming into the business, monitoring the sales strategies and action plans for package income in ALUA hotels.Assure effective cost management, verifying that expenses are in line with budgeted guidelines.Keep track of package income and GOP results of each ALUA Hotel.Strategy, planning and standards:Coordinate the Human capital for ALUA Hotels.Implement the guidelines, strategies and policies designed by AMR Corporate.Plan, prepare and follow up on the annual budget of ALUA Hotels.Fully participate in the A&B and Division Rooms meetings.Human Capital:Establish training and development plans for future openings.Coordinate with the other Regional VPs of Operations and Corporate Human Resources Department the identification of talent and future promotions.Implement training, development and internal communication plans of hotels in Europe.Meetings with General Managers:Participate in the Quarterly meetings with all the Regional VPs of Operations and prepare an Executive Summary to be sent to the SVP Operations- AMR Europe that will include:Review of results and forecasts. Financial indicators.Share the best practices that were implemented in the hotels and have generated positive results, and ensure those are also implemented in other properties.Share and resolve Opportunity Areas common to your Region (example: demographics, policies, suppliers, risks, threats, opportunities...)Ensure that the agreed action plan is being implemented.Follow-up of guest satisfaction ratios as well as satisfaction ratios of our staff members.Follow up on the action plan for each hotel and support the Regional VPs to meet quarterly and annual objectives.Coordinate meetings with their Direct reports and the SVP of Operations to make sure that all the processes in the hotels are following best practices.New projects and take-over of ALUA HotelsManage and lead the openings of new ALUA Hotels making sure deadlines are met and goals are being achieved.Provide full support to the Corporate Development Team by following up with each aspect of projects in your region.Implement the guidelines and strategies designed by AMResorts Global Operations in the new projects
