Join our global TUI MM Port Operations Team based in Spain as a General Agency Account Manager and provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world.
You will be assisting cruise lines and other clients on their daily operations across a Region.
This role can be based anywhere in Spain. ABOUT THE JOBBe the main point of contact of the companies under the General Agency; the nexus between the cruise lines and destinations for everything related to berth requests and conflicts, planning, Port Costs, special queries and Ops, incidences, procedures, etc.Berth reservations for all countries; deal with berth's reservations and possible conflicts, update the master calendar and permanently communicate with both cruise lines and destinations for a smooth season's planning and operation.Responsible for all questionnaires, manuals, documentation's distribution and procedures' implementation (operations, invoicing and finance).Creation and maintenance of the prefunding calendar for all countries (per season).
Keep the prefunds calendar duly updated with all tariffs and costs' changes during the season and keep the cruise lines well informed about any deviation on the budget/forecast.Responsible for the Port Costs budget (per season) and analysis of any costs' deviations together with the Regional and local teams.Keep all proforma DAs and costs duly updated.Have a fluid and permanent communication with the regional teams in order to explore opportunities, work on new initiatives/projects and widen our business to new destinations.Look for discounts and incentives and negotiate with the ports and suppliers together with the Regional and local teams.Operational assistance and follow up remotely and on-site when needed.ABOUT YOUGood academic background.Excellent knowledge of the English language.Good office administration and organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.Experience in Port Agency operations.Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.Results and customer oriented.Proactiveness and responsibility.Ability to analyse and resolve problems with autonomy.ABOUT OUR OFFERCompetitive salary and benefits as standard.Career progression opportunities in more than 50 countries worldwide.Develop yourself as part of a friendly, richly diverse and virtual international team.Exceptional approach to your learning - access to free learning platforms & language lessons.TUI Musement is a leading Tours & Activities business.
