The Underwriting Process Analyst in EMEA Underwriting Center plays a pivotal role in driving process optimization across all countries and lines of business managed at the Underwriting Center. The position entails conducting in-depth analyses of underwriting processes for policies managed and renewed across multiple countries and lines of business, identifying inefficiencies, and promoting standardization and best practices.
The role holder collaborates closely with underwriting teams, operations, and regional stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
The position will report to the Underwriting Operations Manager of the EMEA Underwriting Centre.
Main Responsibilities: Process Analysis and Evaluation: conduct comprehensive assessments of underwriting processes across various countries and lines of business, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, deviations from standard processes, and areas for improvement. Standardization and Best Practices: develop and implement standardized procedures and workflows to ensure consistent and efficient underwriting operations across all countries and lines of business at the Underwriting Center. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics related to underwriting processes. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders for process improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with underwriting, operations, IT teams across different countries to ensure alignment of processes and procedures. Foster strong relationships with regional stakeholders to facilitate change management and process harmonization. Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and eliminate waste. Track and monitor the impact of process changes on overall underwriting efficiency and quality. Documentation and Reporting: create detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to support standardization efforts. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on key findings and improvement initiatives.
