You will deal with brokers and clients of large companies, within an international dimension with the aim of solving contractual situations and every need of our customers at national and international level. You will have the opportunity to relate to all insurance departments from Underwriting, Finance and Claims, also communicating with our colleagues in other countries to activate insurance programs abroad.Role holder provides support to Underwriting and ensures that the administrative processes for the end-to-end policy life cycle are run efficiently and at a high quality to serve internal and external. In addition, depending on the seniority, you would take responsibility for more complex accounts as well as having in-depth knowledge of at least one line of business and can support UW in pre- and post-bind processes.DISCOVER your opportunityThe Underwriting Assistant role is responsible for:Contracts handling (master policies, international programs outgoing and incoming) in an efficient and correct way for new and established businesses (sending, receiving, controlling).Checking the conditions of acceptance of the customer's request, interacting with the customer if necessary, by using various available data sources to make the right decision and give the right advice to the broker/client.Following up until contract signing or refusal.Developing draft contracts/amendments that fit with customer needs.Modifying coverage concepts if desired by the client/broker.Preparing contracts which are beyond his/her authority and discussing them with his team leader.Monitoring, planning and issuing contractual documents (policies, endorsement and certificates).Supporting the Credit Control team in the cash allocation for accounts and the monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums.Data Management: preparing and sending weekly reports, preparing premium flows, preparing and sending local policies instructions, controlling Gross and Net portfolio, controlling data quality.Acting as a reference point to help troubleshoot issues and provide processing/system expertise.Developing expert level knowledge with regards to our internal tool for the implementation of Global Programs.SHARE your talentWe're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Bachelor´s degree desirable.Fluent English and Spanish.Few years of experience in similar functions and responsibilities.Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Live and feel Customer focus, ONE AXA Spirit, Courageous, and Integrity in the way of doing business and working with all colleagues/stakeholders.Able to build and manage internal relationships and communication, good negotiation skills.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a robust work ethic.Proactive attitude facing challenges.Effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.Ability to respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation.Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, vendors, and brokers as well as across the AXA XL and AXA Group enterprise.Excellent time management skills; ability to successfully multitask.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
