About the role
What you need to know:
Underwriting assistant (TEMPORARY 6 months) to support Financial Lines Line of Business. The role will perform business processing transactions across all ranges of complexity serving as a team resource for the resolution of escalated issues.
Drive timelines, including UW timelines, and engage them in the different products to provide the best level of service in small and middle market products. Quote timelines SLAs controls
Manage all pre-bind tasks, including:
o Submissions: clearing blocks
o Renewal process management: gathering data, updating file, working with underwriting guidelines, Brokers requirements and local renewal streaming rules.
o Book, bind and issue: creating booking instructions, reviewing reinsurance and multinational securities, FAC documentation, confirmation of coverage and uploading documents to common repository.
o Cancellation process management, direct contact with Brokers and Clients
Public tenders administration.
Manage clients and employees needs, helping by calls, e-mails matters related with issues and providing information to the appropriate service
Customer service and help to AIG Clients and brokers
Record the transactions into the AIG system
Coordination with Underwriting dept to consolidate data of different business operations in the systems.
Contact and coordination with the Shared Services to execute several admin tasks.
What we're looking for:
Experience in insurance industry (within administration or Underwriting support depts)
High School graduated required. Law or Business Administration degree will be a plus.
Fluent English skills (written & spoken)
Excellent customer service and attention to detail
Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality
Result driven
