Prequalifying accounts and utilizing underwriting acumen to select Engineering risks within the company's risk appetite. Expand and develop new business opportunities through production & marketing calls with brokers and customers. Qualifications 3-5 years of engineering insurance experience. Preferably a graduate in Engineering. Strong existing broker relationships with a concentration on the retail brokerage community. Experience and comprehensive understanding of contract forms, including broker manuals. Strong understanding of CAT peril modeling/pricing. Proven customer relationship experience. Develop and build the Engineering book of business. Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships. Identify and prequalify new business.
