Context And Mission
The mission of the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (CASE) Department within BSC is to develop computational tools for simulating complex flow problems in massively parallel supercomputers. The candidate will be integrated into the LS/CFD team and will help with the development of high-speed simulation of aeronautical flows using SOD2D software.
Key Duties Integrate novel initial flow conditions in SOD2D and Alya Write reports and papers on the various techniques developed. Simulate aeronautical flows using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Requirements Education: Bachelor degree in aeronautics, physics or engineering Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:

Numerical methods for PDE CFD Python and Fortran Conditions The position will be located at BSC within the CASE Department We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, and support for relocation procedures Duration: Open-ended contract linked to project and budget duration Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December Salary: competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, according to the cost of living in Barcelona Starting date: 1st October Applications procedure and process
