Recruitment of an R&D technician to support transfer, entrepreneurship, and relationship with the business sector in research and collaboration in the tasks of the specified (project/agreement) of research. The Office for the Coordination of Research Centers of UDC is the operational unit responsible for the functioning of UDC's most excellent structures in the field of R&D. It reports organically and functionally to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer, under the direction of the Strategic Director of the Office.Among other functions, the Technical Management Unit of this office is responsible for analyzing the local, regional, national, and international context to identify strategic niches and opportunities for the R&D centers and units. This aims to enhance the acquisition of financial resources from diversified sources, define and implement an ecosystem that stimulates research and transfer activities, and increase collaboration with local businesses. This positions the research centers as driving elements of a proactive culture that enables the exploration of new public and private funding sources and a new transfer framework with various stakeholders.The UDC R&D Centers Network Office already equipped itself with a qualified technician in one of the strategic areas where greater potential had been demonstrated, such as the field of Artificial Intelligence and Communication Technology (primarily with capabilities concentrated in CITIC). Now, after a year and a half of operation, the second major area of activity identified is in the field of engineering, with specific but also transversal capabilities in CITEEC, CITENI, and to a lesser extent, CICA.To fulfill the assigned functions and address the arising needs in this field of action, it is necessary to have personnel with a proven track record in the field of engineering from the business sector, with demonstrable experience and capacity in the direction, management, and advising of companies; in managing business projects from planning through economic management to production (transfer), and whose work has been focused not only on functional needs but also in the field of R&D.Tasks to be developed:Analyze the research and innovation ecosystem of UDC, primarily in the fields of Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Agricultural...). Diagnosis, analysis of capacities, and the state of this sector.Explore the innovative and research framework at local, national, and international levels to identify opportunities for UDC participation and to align R&D areas with the needs of the productive sector.Develop action proposals to improve UDC's indicators and performance in these fields, especially in relation to the business sector.
