The precise salary will be determined based on experience.Key Responsibilities Production Management: Negotiate with our production partners to ensure smooth operations.Act as the Point of Contact (PoC) with our production partner for production management.Forecast production requirements in coordination with sales projections.Blackbox production processes, including monitoring quality and stability of the mixes, plus organizing production and distribution with blackboxing partners depending on production forecast.Manage raw material procurement and establish relationships with suppliers.Oversee orders and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and production partners.Travel to the location of our production partners in order to oversee productions and problem-solve when necessary.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Act as the Point of Contact (PoC) with our production partner for quality control.Ensure compliance with HACCP system standards and regulations, particularly regarding allergen control, ensuring safe practices throughout the supply chain.Explore shelf-life extension strategies and oversee trials for new ingredients, formulas, processes and packaging materials.Maintain accurate documentation related to raw materials, production processes, and distribution channels.Keep HACCP system documentation up to date and implement necessary changes to meet legal requirements.Monitor stock levels ensuring compliance with Best Before Dates (BBD).Logistics and Distribution: Manage the logistics and distribution process from our production facility to our partners across the EU.Ensure quality monitoring of the entire supply chain, including freezing and storage systems.Coordinate with distribution partners to optimize delivery schedules and minimize lead times.Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate production costs and collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for optimization.Liaise with suppliers and partners to negotiate prices, volume discounts, and obtain updated pricing for raw materials.Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.Drive innovation in product development and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and quality.Study losses in all the production processes to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.Must-Have Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering or similar field.Previous experience in food industry processes, focused on food's quality and safety, HACCP systems and industrial scale processes.Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry or biotech sector.Excellent negotiation skills and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
