Our mission is to contribute to helping more people and businesses prosper.RESPONSIBILITIESRun the PagoNxt Data Protection Officer (DPO) function for PagoNxt Merchant Services and Getnet Europe, with the responsibility of:Monitor compliance with data protection regulations.Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Companies' data protection policies, procedures, and processes in relation to the protection of personal data.Inform and advise the Companies about their data protection obligations.Provide advice regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other risk assessments.Raise awareness and provide training about data protection obligations.Maintain the ROPA of the Companies.Support the DPOs and privacy experts of the remaining entities within the PagoNxt acquiring business across other jurisdictions (e.g., Latam, Asia).REQUIREMENTSEXPERIENCE+5 years of experience in data protection and legal compliance (GDPR and other local privacy regulations).SKILLS & KNOWLEDGELaw graduate with expert knowledge of data protection law and practices.Relevant skills and expertise include:Expertise in Spanish and European data protection laws and practices, including an in-depth understanding of the GDPR.Understanding of the acquiring and payments sector.Understanding of information technologies and data security.Ability to work and communicate collaboratively/cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies.Data protection certification such as the ones under the AEPD certification scheme, CIPP/E, etc.Critical thinking and attention to detail.Fluency in English and Spanish, written and oral.
