With us, you have the ultimate opportunity to gain new and challenging work experiences and create unparalleled, direct impact.Job Description: We are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Legal Counsel professional specialized in contract management to join Galderma's Global Legal Compliance Team.
You will have the possibility to influence the way we operate around commercial contracting, build agreement templates and playbooks, manage policies, and improve our contract management processes, tools and systems.
You will be at the front line negotiating key commercial contracts.
We are currently in an inspiring transformational phase - as we deliver on our ambition to become the leading dermatology company in the world.You will be joining an ambitious and skilled international team of lawyers and compliance personnel and have the ability to make a positive contribution early on.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport business and procurement operations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts; for example, services and master services agreements, engagement of independent contractors and healthcare professionals, IT and systems agreements, SaaS, data processing agreements, marketing, advertising and media, and confidentiality agreements.Manage the contract templates globally, develop and/or enrich templates; work with colleagues within the LC department to improve and streamline our contracts templates.Manage and investigate contract-related matters and issues in cooperation with business stakeholders and other corporate counsels.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about contracts.Prepare, communicate, and ensure compliance with contract guidelines, policies, and SOPs.Develop and/or enrich contracts negotiation playbooks and deliver associated trainings to stakeholders.Develop a training program and train stakeholders on contract matters, negotiation positions, and policies and processes - creating systematic and recurrent internal training (legal for non-legal) to allow procurement and business teams and managers to operate with greater autonomy.Develop and improve processes to mitigate contractual risks, improve contract quality and increase efficiency.Be the legal point person for managing Galderma's contract repositories and contracts management tools and interact with business users to monitor usage and adoption, resolve issues, and make improvement.Keep appraised of global developments in contract law and other topics relevant to Galderma's contract management operations.Skills QualificationsLicentiate, Bachelor of Laws, JD or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.Self-starter with at least 5+ years' experience working with commercial contracts in a contract management setting - acquired in the pharmaceutical industry or consumer health sector.Highly skilled at drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English.Expertise in developing efficient contract templates, playbooks, and standard documents.Hands-on experience with contract management tools and systems.Demonstrated experience in streamlining processes, implementing systems and tools.Experience working in a global corporate environment (preferable).Excellent presentation skills to deliver training programs to internal stakeholders.Self-motivated; thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and can adjust workload based upon changing priorities and deadlines.Proficient in English.Strong communication skills.What we offer in returnYou will be working for an organization that embraces diversity inclusion and believes we will deliver better outcomes by reflecting the perspectives of our diverse customer base.
