The Data Operations Manager is crucial in managing data processes and leading a team of Data and Business Support Analysts. This role is essential for the successful delivery of data products and services, upholding data integrity standards, and effective team management.Main ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibility of this role is to oversee data processes and manage a team of Geospatial Property Analysts. The Data Operations Manager is responsible for:Supervising and leading a team of Geospatial Property Analysts, ensuring optimal performance, professional growth, and strong engagement.Creating and overseeing data product delivery processes that are efficient, scalable, and adhere to quality standards.Directing the development and upkeep of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to facilitate data integration and analysis.Performing quality checks on data pipelines and products to guarantee data precision, uniformity, and dependability.Overseeing the setup and ongoing management of database technology.QualificationsEssential:Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in managing data products and their delivery.Demonstrable experience in leading and managing a team of data professionals.Solid background in data processes, including the development and management of ETL pipelines.In-depth experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).Proven experience in the quality assurance of data pipelines and products.Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capability to address complex data issues.Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Competence in prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently.Keen organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Desired:A university degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Geospatial Science).Knowledge of geospatial data and applications (ESRI, QGIS).Proficiency with data visualization tools and methodologies.Familiarity with Agile software development practices and principles.Experience with programming languages, including Python and SQL.
