Oyster is a dynamic and fast-growing startup where you will work collaboratively across business, product, design, and engineering teams to develop and deliver software solutions from conception to release.
As Product Director for Payroll, your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver a superior payroll experience for our customers while ensuring our backend processes are efficient, scalable, and transparent.
What you'll do: Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap for our Payroll domain in close collaboration with Design, Engineering, and internal stakeholders from Finance, Customer Experience, and Sales Conduct customer research and analyze analytics data to create an exceptional Payroll experience Stay informed about market trends, assess opportunities, recommend solutions, and establish vendor relationships Lead and coach a small PM team and contribute to growing our Product culture as a domain lead Ensure effective communication of the vision and progress across the organization What we're looking for: A technical degree in engineering, business, or a related field At least 2 years of experience leading a team 4+ years of experience in a highly cross-functional SaaS B2B company 2+ years of domain expertise in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment Competent, adaptable, always willing to learn, and committed to ethical and transparent practices (BONUS) Experience in a scale-up environment (BONUS) Experience working in a fully distributed and remote working environment If you have a strong passion for product development, are committed to delivering value to our customers, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
