Role Purpose: To gain a good overview of the HR function by assisting the HR Manager in providing effective support in all HR operational tasks as well as conducting end-to-end recruitment processes to increase the talent pipeline of the company.
We offer a temporary contract to cover a paternity leave (estimated period of 6 months) providing HR support to the employees of the Iberian Branch plus all the Regional roles based in Madrid (around 250 employees).
Main responsibilities:
Resourcing - Managing approval process for business requests - Assisting managers in developing and updating job descriptions - Conducting regular follow-ups with the hiring managers and HR Manager to determine the effectiveness of recruiting.Training and Development - Initiatives to promote Learning offer - Working closely with the L&D team in the UK to organize trainings for Iberian employees - Participating in building and delivering trainings in Spanish/English to the Iberian population - Helping to assess the talent of the Iberian branch - Enhancing the new L&D platform CTX (Chubb Talent Experience).Employee Engagement & Retention - Working on increasing employees' awareness about Chubb as an employer: Benefits, flexible working, wellbeing, and D&I - Proposing initiatives that contribute to keeping employees' morale high - Ensuring the Spanish staff understands and applies all policies and HR processes through effective use of HR Space in The Village - Working closely with the Marketing & Communication team to increase employees' awareness of Chubb HR processes and policies through the HR Village page - Assisting the HR Manager in implementing initiatives to raise the CHUBB Brand as an employer.HR Initiatives & Projects - Participating with the HR team in implementing new HR initiatives - Working as a true team player assisting the HR area in business project implementation - Keeping in touch with other HR colleagues in Europe to share best practices, ask for guidance, or provide assistance - Making suggestions on improving employee engagement - Working on building new HR policies or procedures as required.
