Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommercial Counsel: Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret commercial contracts (e.g., SaaS/subscription agreements, data services agreements, master service agreements, NDAs) with a wide variety of counterparties (renewable energy developers, corporate and industrial renewable energy purchasers, independent renewable energy advisors, software vendors, etc.
).Corporate and Regulatory Compliance: Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements; develop and maintain related internal policies and procedures.QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience as in-house counsel at a multinational company or with a leading law firm, with significant experience on matters involving renewable energy and renewable energy projects.
Experience with SaaS and venture-backed startups is a strong plus.Ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice and guidance independently in a fast-moving environment at all levels of the Company.A willingness and desire to learn LevelTen's business at a granular level for the purpose of assessing risk and providing strategic advice.Strong teaming and collaboration skills.Fluency in English (the working language of the Company and Madrid office) is required.
Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred as well.
