Join Our Team as a HR and Payroll Associate About this role As part of our Human Resources team, you will work alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.
The HR and Payroll Associate is part of the Human Resources Department per country/region, reports to the regional HR Manager or HR Director, and will work according to company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: HR administration tasks related to employee lifecycle in line with global guidelines and local regulations (i.e.
contracts, confidentiality agreements, onboarding/offboarding of employees).
Managing all records and performing audits, when necessary, in line with global and local compliance rules.
Assisting with the induction and development of leaders and employees.
Monitoring employees' absence in line with TFS policies and maintaining the records in HR systems.
Maintaining up-to-date HR work instructions.
Producing and reviewing HR reports to ensure high data quality.
Responding to HR-related queries within the company using the ticketing system.
Working with the HR team and Country Leads to plan, organise, and deliver social events.
Contributing to the organization and development of processes to enhance the work at TFS.
Handling external queries from selected suppliers within the area of HR.
Payroll responsibilities: Driving end-to-end payroll processing by collecting and reviewing relevant timesheet data and payroll information.
Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
Working with the payroll vendor to ensure correct calculations of wages, benefits, tax deductions, etc.
Preparing and processing paychecks (i.e.
US, Italy).
Processing payroll-related payments (salaries, taxes, one-off payments).
Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
Working with the payroll vendor to ensure correct preparation and distribution of payroll-related statements.
Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
Performing payroll reconciliations.
Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management, involving/liaising with the payroll provider when needed.
Other: Dealing with the benefit providers for any daily and extraordinary administration (if not handled by the payroll provider).
Coordinating regular benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims.
Informing employees of the details of the company's benefit package.
Resolving benefit-related issues and responding to queries and requests.
Ensuring all benefit materials are up to date.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of payroll and/or labor law legislation experience.
Knowledge of HR information systems (i.e.
Bamboo, Workday, SAP), MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
An advantage to have payroll systems (i.e.
ADP, TMF) experience.
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills in English.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with complete integrity and discretion.
Strong attention to detail and a 'getting it right first-time' mentality.
Problem-solving mindset.
Desire to develop HR and payroll knowledge.
