We are seeking a UAV Pilot specialized in fixed-wing aircraft to join our team.
This role involves participating in testing missions, primarily in Western Ukraine, with occasional assignments abroad.
The position focuses on preparing and conducting tests in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
Experience in UAV maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:1.
Test Preparation:Collaborate with the Ground Control Operator to define and validate test protocols.Assemble and configure test equipment, including UAVs, measuring devices, and sensors.Verify all equipment functionality before flight.2.
Test Execution:Conduct flights strictly following defined protocols.Ensure safety for personnel, infrastructure, and equipment during operations.Adapt flight plans as necessary to accommodate environmental or unforeseen conditions.3.
On-Site Test Missions:Participate in occasional site missions, lasting 5 to 15 days, primarily in Western Ukraine.Ensure the successful execution of tests in diverse environments.4.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair (a plus):Perform preventive and corrective UAV maintenance.Handle basic technical repairs such as wiring, soldering, and mechanical or electronic adjustments if capable.Maintain UAV readiness and performance for upcoming missions.Extensive experience piloting fixed-wing UAVs, including both large and small-scale models.Proficiency in radio control modes 1 and 2.Strong technical knowledge in mechanics and electronics (repair experience is a plus).Familiarity with safety protocols and risk management related to UAV operations.Ability to work independently during extended on-site assignments.Fluency in English is required.Desired Profile:Demonstrated expertise in UAV piloting, with significant hands-on experience in fixed-wing aircraft.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Responsiveness and adaptability to unexpected challenges.A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in international and multidisciplinary teams.Destinus is an equal-opportunity employer:we value diversity in our companies and teams.
