We are seeking a versatile UAV Operator to support drone operations, ensure system maintenance, and provide user training.
This key role includes tasks related to preparation, maintenance, and training on UAV equipment, with occasional travel abroad, primarily to Western Ukraine.
The role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to work independently, and a strong sense of precision and rigor.
Responsibilities:Mission Configuration and Preparation:
- Prepare UAVs, Ground Control Stations (GCS), and telemetry antennas for flights.
- Participate in pre-flight checklists and verify that equipment meets operational requirements.
- Analyze flight areas and weather conditions to effectively plan operations.On-Site Operational Support:
- Take part in occasional on-site missions, ensuring the implementation and smooth execution of flights.
- Collaborate closely with safety pilots to ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards.
- Provide assistance in case of unexpected situations or emergencies during missions.UAV System Maintenance:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UAVs to ensure their availability and performance.
- Conduct basic software updates and retrieve telemetry logs.
- Identify and resolve basic technical issues, including minor mechanical and electronic repairs.User Training:
- Train operators in UAV usage, GCS operations, and safety procedures.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to enable users to independently manage UAV systems.
- Provide educational materials and follow-up support to assess learners' progress.Minimum Requirements:Experience in the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.Technical knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and telemetry systems.Ability to identify and resolve technical problems independently.Strong teaching skills and the ability to convey technical knowledge effectively.Precision, autonomy, and the ability to work in demanding environments.Physical aptitude for handling equipment and performing maintenance tasks.Fluent in English.Desired Profile:Prior experience in drone maintenance or operations is essential.Adaptability to varied environments and multicultural teams.A practical, solution-oriented mindset with a strong interest in UAV technology.
