As the UAS Engineering Support Technician, you will: Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting of our drone technology while deployedTrack and Monitor equipment issues, looking for trends, providing both insight and possible root cause analysisInitiate and process Care Package request items in collaboration with internal logistics resourcesWork with Project Managers and Engineering to best determine resolution in equipment issues affecting the customer as well as Industry ComplianceWork with Engineering Team when necessary to develop/resolve firmware and other software issuesProvide technical expertise in house support with projects, maintenance and buildsProvide input for weekly production schedules and update equipment status in applicable management systemsFacilitate decision-making process to resolve issues in a timely mannerProvide guidance and implementation of new processes and tools to enable remote technical supportProvide recommendations for facilities, equipment and systems used in the maintenance and repair of UAS assets.A valid driver's licenseRequirements of the job: Degree or certification in an engineering or technical disciplineFamiliarity with UAS platformsExcellent communication skills with experience supporting field operationsFluent in English and SpanishBonus points for: Ability to pilot UAS platforms Fluent in French and/or GermanIf you require a reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable laws to assist with the job applicable or pre-employment process, please direct inquiries to People & Culture at ask-people-culture @ skyspecs.com
