Job Summary
This role offers a great opportunity for a Finance Analyst to be part of the Integration Management Office (IMO) Programme responsible for the integration of the Lumen EMEA region. The integration will help Colt increase our global presence and become the digital infrastructure company the world's leading business choose to connect with.
As a Finance Analyst, your primary responsibility within the programme will be analysing financial data, monitoring financial performance, preparing reports and offering recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability. The role will report to the IMO Finance Director.
Job Description Key accountabilities: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including actuals & budgets, income statements, and cashflows.Develop financial models to support the decision-making processes, identifying key trends, variances and potential risks or opportunities.Complete budget and forecast submissions into SAP BPC, ensuring compliance with the standard FP&A process and timetable.Monitor financial performance and prepare regular, timely financial reports, including monthly management reports, variance analysis and performance metrics.Present financial information to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Prepare cost structures including cost centres and WBS codes to align to overall workstream budgets.Track, monitor and analyse costs within the different workstreams, identify areas for cost reductions or process improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives.Ensure accounting standards, policies and principles are followed for all financial transactions and reporting.Support with capturing audit evidence of key controls for both cost and synergies and validation with the Internal and External Auditors.Effectively communicate financial concepts and insights to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the financial implications of their decisions.Skills and experience: Experience of financial modelling, data analysis and financial reporting.Knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards.Experience with budgeting and forecasting.Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, financial databases and accounting software (e.g. SAP ECC & BPC).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CIMA / ACCA / ACA.Education:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or Accounting or a relevant field.
