Title: UABOS Spain: Material Management Superintendent KBR will sustain the operational well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base (Spain), Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, and various facilities in Turkey.
Our services encompass program management, civil engineering, morale and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more.
With a five-year base period and three one-year options, KBR ensures these bases operate smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution.
Job Summary Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials.
Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items.
Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items.
Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team.
Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities Provides Material Control Support and Supervision; analyzes and implements Material Control management systems and techniques.
Supervises the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership, direction, problem resolution, and training to employees.
Forecasts, plans, budgets, and requisitions material requirements.
Supervises the receipt, storage, issuing, and disposal of inventory.
Monitors the material control data input into the ERP and APSR for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
Produces and briefs inventory, KPI, and order status reports as requested.
Utilizes purchasing card in accordance with FAR policies, corporate purchasing guidelines, and project-specific work instructions.
Assists in the performance of on-site Material Control audits throughout the Spain Task Order.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications US Citizen Associate's degree Combined experience of 7 years in Logistics, Materials, and/or Supply Chain Management Previous experience supervising or managing direct report employees Advanced knowledge of MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive Previous experience utilizing supply chain ERP software Possess a valid driver's license, minimum Class D Preferred Qualifications Experience with researching, sourcing, and managing automotive parts & repair requirements Previous or current Purchasing Card experience Certification and experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Maintenance & Utilization, Warehouse Management, and Property Accountability Modules Knowledge of Air Force Instructions (AFI) 24-302 and Vehicle Management Guidebook Chapter 5 - Material Control Previous experience managing union member employees Bachelor's degree KBR Benefits KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include, medical, dental, AD&D;, or flexible work schedule.
