Electrical Project Engineer Sr Job Purpose Main Accountabilities Support and report to the Electrical & Automation Engineering Manager for coordination, supervision, and management for the development and delivery for construction of the basic and detailed electrical engineering.Follow up on schedules, ensuring completion according to the master schedule, and detect and support correcting any deviations in time and cost that may occur during the process.Manage the purchase of any kind of electrical equipment for the project and participate in the project startup up to stabilization and formal closure, in coordination with the other disciplines project team.Participate actively in projects through the preliminary execution of proposals for equipment sizing calculations, main and distribution substations, and single line diagrams, addressing any electrical engineering necessities that arise during any phase of the project.Review/create calculations for electrical and automation equipment and materials.Support the projects construction team during project execution, startup, and commissioning stages, providing immediate and effective solutions to ensure cost, quality, and execution time.Participate during the startup and commissioning of the project in the electrical discipline.Evaluate global Electrical & Automation installation technologies and equipment suppliers to maintain up-to-date Company standards, ensuring competitive cost and quality.Verify compliance with local, international, and Company codes, standards, and design criteria with designers and engineering firms through monitoring and assistance.Review all information, drafts, and certified engineering deliverables from electrical and instrumentation equipment suppliers.Request/field survey any necessary information from group plants or subsidiaries to ensure continuity of projects.Education and Experience Level of Education: Bachelor (degree), Master, Others Specify: Preferably Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Master in Industrial Engineering.
Area of Study: Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Sciences.
Knowledge of PC Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, AutoCAD general knowledge, Power System Analysis software like Easy Power preferably.
Experience 1. >=1 year (Preferably) Cement and/or mining-related projects/equipment experience.
2. >=10 years Electrical Project Engineer related to industrial plants and projects.
3. >=2 years Electrical Project Engineer at site related to industrial plants.
Other Requirements Preferably general knowledge of cement, ready-mix, and aggregate industry-related equipment and installations; otherwise, general knowledge in any Industrial Process is a must.General knowledge of engineering and project process development.Good knowledge on power system analysis (power flow, SC, coordination, arc flash).Good knowledge on medium and low voltage installations and the related standards, wiring practices, and code requirements.Industrial facilities field installation and startup knowledge.Good knowledge on electrical equipment selection, including high and medium voltage switchgears, relays, breakers, current and voltage instrumentation, power transformers, LV distribution panels and breakers, MCCs, lightning panel, and transformers.
