Build this New Chapter with usAs DevOps Engineer & Azure Platform Architect in the Department API Services IT APS API, you will enable Siemens to outperform competitors with Digital Business growth and profitability by providing API & Software Platforms and Services. You will do so by driving reuse of APIs and Event Driven Integration Patterns and enabling scalable digital services for packaged business capabilities in all Siemens Business.
You will be the DevOps Engineer & Azure Platform Architect based on state of the art and cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, MuleSoft, etc. You will enable Business to utilize Integration Platforms and reuse Integration Pattern in a fully automated way in their processes.
Change the future with usUsing your expertise, you will be responsible for:
Developing and evolving Well-Architected API and Event Driven Integration Services.Working closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements.Designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments.Architecting, developing, deploying, and evolving CI and CD systems for cloud platform.Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring and alerting to improve performance and reliability.Developing templates to automate infrastructure provisioning on Microsoft Azure using the scripting language of your choice.Identifying problems relating to mission-critical services and implementing automation to prevent problem recurrence from automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.Driving continuous improvement in the Azure platform incorporating feedback.Working closely with development teams/Product owners to ensure that platforms are designed and implemented as per defined Organizational and Industry DevOps best practices.Performing technical deep dives into design and performing root cause analysis.What you need to make real what mattersOverall 5+ years of experience in a complex environment, working with multinational teams across the world. Experience with one or more orchestration, deployment tools Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, Ansible. Experience in DevOps Environment and familiarity with DevOps Frameworks. PowerShell or Python experience, specifically for systems automation. Experience working with Azure DevOps/Git or other source control systems. Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. Open minded and strong communication skills.
Optional: Experience implementing, designing, deploying Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless (Function or Lambda's). Custom Functions/Script/automation writing (.Net core/Python/PowerShell/Azure automation/Terraform/Ansible etc.). Good knowledge of Container and Orchestration (Docker/Azure Kubernetes).
