.OverviewReporting to the HR Consulting function, this individual contributor role is responsible for the labor relations engagements in Spain and will partner closely with the country HR leadership team and business leadership to ensure a healthy and productive labor relations environment to enable Microsoft's mission of empowering every organisation and individual on the planet to achieve more.QualificationsRequired / Minimum QualificationsExperience in Human Resources with a focus on labor relations OR Bachelor's Degree AND experience with Human Resources with a focus on Labor Relations.Additional or Preferred QualificationsDemonstrable experience in leading challenging labor relations negotiations.Formal qualifications in associated skills (e.G. mediation and/or conflict resolution) relevant to the region.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for employee relations and union negotiations within the aligned country.Partners with CELA, HR stakeholders and the geo business leadership team to manage and resolve product inquiries / launches requiring representative engagement.Assists / partners with HR planners and change leaders to implement organisational changes that require labour relations engagements, especially during fiscal year changes.Ensures appropriate control, compliance and tracking of open labor relations issues in partnership with CELA and HR stakeholders at the country level.Builds and manages constructive, effective relationships with employee representatives and provides insights to business leaders and HR partners on the relationships between the company and employee representatives.Analyze labor trends, prepare negotiation strategies, and lead collective bargaining agreements.Partners with CELA and HR stakeholders to surface trends and themes in labour relations for the assigned geo.Owns and interprets the CBA(s) (Collective Bargaining Agreements) in the geo and provides consultation and guidance to partners when required.Informs and consults on timelines for people and policy changes that require labor relations engagements and leads the labor relations engagements at the country-level, partnering with business leadership when appropriate.Labour Relations ConsultingLeads their geo in collaboration with peer disciplines or professions (e.G. Talent Management, Learning and Development), as well as global Human Resource partners, to contribute insights, leverage resources, and provide consultation and support for the leadership of labour relations in the geo.Consults with peers across the globe who support Labor Relations in other geos and proactively identifies opportunities to scale approaches to Labor Relations beyond their geo responsibility.HR Projects and ProgramsPartners with peer disciplines (Centers of Excellence, GSS teams, HR planners and regional HR leadership etc
