The Senior Specialist will serve as one of the primary contacts for the crew.
The role will be responsible for sharing information with HR Operations, Learning and Talent Acquisition to support the leadership and the crew.
The position reports to the Artist Management Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for closely partnering with Supervisors, Studio and Production leadership to support and manage staffing plans across projects.Partner with the department Supervisor to support crew assignments and transitions and ensure timely communication to all involved.Being one of the key contacts for artists and production team members in providing day-to-day support and guidance to the crew (concerning performance, personal/professional development and leadership).Responsible for identifying and recommending new technology and workflows to support crew transitions and communication to necessary departments.Partner closely with Talent Acquisition on upcoming needs (Internal vacancies, promotions, etc).Work with HR Operations team to ensure transfers, adjustments, and promotions are accurately reflected in internal systems.Partner with the Learning team to share crew, department and show learning and training needs.Support Artist Management Supervisor in managing the annual performance assessment process and individual performance matters.Attend regular meetings with production and artistic leadership to support crew and studio.Maintain and foster a supportive and collaborative environment within the studio.Additional responsibilities as assigned.Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.Follows the Supervisor's and Lead's guidance.The ability to travel as necessary (10% or less).
