The candidate will join the QA team to support and improve the quality standards and development methodology.
You will report directly to our Head of QA, coordinating closely with the Development and Product teams.
CounterCraft is based out of our offices in San Sebastian, located in Miramon's tech hub.
This role may be located within commuting distance from our head office or as a remote working role.What will be your responsibilities?As the Quality Assurance Assistant / Manager at CounterCraft, you will:Identify issues, flaws and potential bugs and be able to communicate them via tickets.Read code and review MR to verify the solution to be implemented.Plan test cases and update the testing process.Automate test cases to improve efficiency, scalability and accuracy of testing.Provide clear and concise reporting on test and QA results.What you will bring:Required skills and experience:Previous experience with testing methodologies and technologies (e.g., Behave, Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
).API automation knowledge.2+ years of experience in automation.Experience working inside development and QA teams.Certifications such as ISTQB (desirable).Attention to detail and good communication skills to clearly explain the issue.Organized and able to document the work.Proactively provide suggestions.Desire to take ownership of work and results for continuous improvement.Infrastructure and base OS knowledge (Windows and Linux distributions).Strong scoping and reporting writing skills.Strong organizational and planning skills and discipline.Advanced English language communication skills.Self-motivated working style.
