Position Snapshot Location: BarcelonaType of Contract: PermanentOffice of the CIOType of work: HybridWork Language: Fluent Business EnglishThe role The IT Program Manager manages a program to ensure it delivers expected business case to the business partner, on time, on budget, on scope, and on quality.
This may be clearly defined upfront or may require dynamic and iterative scoping, delivery, and change management (agile program management), adhering to established Program and Project Management methodologies.
S/He is responsible for structuring the program, planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing it, ensuring quality and integrity of the information across the enterprise.
Takes accountability for execution of project part execution.
As part of this, is responsible for managing program level risks, quality, and procurement; leads the program team.
The position holder spends a considerable amount of time at the Program's main locations.
What you'll do Program structure established, defining projects, implementing agile project methodologies.Program governance established, sponsors committed, and manages the interdependencies between projects in scope of the program.Direct or approve the use of professional service providers/external suppliers and determines their role across the program according to IT sourcing strategy.Milestones based program plan established, delivered through incremental releases/achievements.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.10+ years of experience in IT and business/industry.5-7 years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs, including agile projects and programs.Leadership skills and track record in developing people, particularly in managing virtual teams.
