Eurovision Services Madrid is recruiting a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join the Finance department team in Madrid, Spain. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITIONEnsure timely and accurate month-end close process, leading to monthly production of financial statements.Support on a variety of technical accounting projects.Provide input into the audit process as required.Preparation of flux analysis actuals vs budget vs forecast vs prior period.Responsible for ensuring compliance of all applicable internal controls in the accounting & reporting area.Reconcile all accounts under his/her responsibility.Management and support in Treasury, Taxes (Manages Swiss VAT and other taxes) and External Audit functions.Asset Management and intercompany accounting.Collaborate with the Finance Manager in Spain with the Immediate Supply of Information (SII Spain).Coordinates all accounting modules in the ERP (receivables, payables, fixed assets, etc).YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years of broad-based financial experience.Some experience with Dynamics 365 (NAV) or AX.Some experience with process automation, IFRS and Swiss Gaap.Strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills.The ability to interact with ease, confidence and credibility at all levels.A proactive approach and the ability to build consensus.Strong business acumen, including negotiation skills.The ability to adapt to and drive changing demands and conditions.Experience in managing a small team.A flexible can-do attitude and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.ADDED VALUEAdditional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:
