Centrient Pharmaceuticals is wholly owned by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.The PositionThe legal counsel provides guidance and sound advice to the Europe Middle East North Africa (EMENA) region and acts as a good and pragmatic in-house counsel in a wide range of legal matters, including day-to-day matters, reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements in several areas and legal projects. The legal counsel ensures effective and efficient legal support to all relevant functions, supports compliance and corporate governance processes, manages existing litigation exposure, and deploys litigation when necessary to protect the business interest.The Legal Counsel EMENA reports to the Deputy General Counsel.Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality guidance and sound legal advice to Centrient's business throughout the EMENA region and be part of the EMENA leadership team.Act as a good and efficient in-house counsel in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements in several areas (including material and tailor-made), with a special focus on purchase and sales related agreements (incl. distribution, agency, services, licenses, confidentiality).Ensure effective and efficient legal support as a business partner on various matters to several functions in the EMENA Region and global matters, e.G., legal opinions, compliance matters, roll-out of templates, and (co-)providing training to business teams.Manage corporate housekeeping matters for Spain and support on the Spain production site related legal matters.Minimum RequirementsSpanish qualified lawyer with 7-10 years working experience within an (international) commercial legal environment as an in-house legal counsel, preferably combined with experience in private practice.Extensive knowledge of (international) commercial contracting.Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered a strong plus
