About the Role: In this hands-on role, you will be the driving force behind our assigned air filter product groups.
The Sales Engineer Surface Treatment Spain & Portugal is responsible for the development of strategic sales accounts and clients, as well as the successful execution of short- and long-term commercial targets in the Surface Treatment segment for the whole Iberia area.
What will you be doing?
Customer relations: You'll initiate & build relations with customers, as well as taking into account the demands and wishes of the customers.
Driving Efficiency: You will be in charge of effective development and execution of the sales plans, achievement of sales targets, and increase the revenue of existing accounts.
Develop sales channels: Professionally develop AAF's indirect & direct sales channels through the establishment of strategic growth initiatives, performance criteria, and targets.
Advisor in technical matters: Expand AAF relationship with the market by selling air filtration solutions, advising customers on technical matters, helping to find the most appropriate solution.
Accelerated Time-to-Market: Partner with cross-functional teams to enlarge sales footprint and market awareness.
Product Champion: Act as an advocate for your assigned products, ensuring clear messaging and building awareness internally and externally.
Our ideal candidate: Has 3 to 5 years sales experience in technical sales for products that require a deep understanding as well as explanation.
Has a background in mechanical engineering or a similar business degree.
Successful track record with high added value product selling, pricing, negotiations, and account management with a history of consistently delivering on expectations for growth and profitability.
Experience in Surface Treatment filtration, Painting, and/or Automotive sales/applications is an additional value.
Ability to manage and service accounts over a broad geographical sales area.
Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written.
Experienced in working with MS Office tools and Salesforce.
