We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in Pressure Equipment to join our team based in Madrid.
About the Job As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to: Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of technical documentation associated with the request for equipment offer, such as: data sheets, technical specifications, requisitions, technical tabulation, tabulation report, kick-off meeting (KOM), follow-up of seller documentation, among others.
Coordinate work teams as well as lead the activities associated with your discipline in the projects assigned to you.
Ensure contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers.
Ensure proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
Adhere to project target and priority such as technical robustness, budget & schedule target.
Optimize solutions and supervise more junior engineers.
Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project.
Propose alternatives for cost & schedule savings, energy savings in line with project target.
Interface with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
Ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
For small requisition / standard equipment, act as project manager for his requisition in charge of technical, contractual, expediting and inspection with spot support from project / procurement.

About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: You have more than 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with experience in Pressure Vessel activities.
Complementary studies related to Pressure Equipment will be valued.
You speak English fluently (B2 minimum).
You have technical knowledge of ASME, PED, etc.
You have experience in equipment design tools such as PV Elite, AutoPipe-Vessel, COMPRESS, Nozzle Pro, TANK, AMEtank, etc.
You have great communication and leadership skills.
