The Clinical Cost Analyst provides analysis and expertise about clinical studies financials to Resource Management at Bayer Pharma Clinical Operations.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for planning and tracking of external clinical study costs in the respective cost tracking system in collaboration with study teams in countries.Perform financial forecasting for clinical study costs in countries in collaboration with study teams.Responsible for calculation and posting of monthly accruals for clinical study costs.Track monthly cost Actuals and provide deviation analysis to study teams in countries.Ensure data quality of country study cost Forecasts.Maintain in-depth knowledge of country specific cost drivers in clinical studies and related contracts.Point of contact for country study teams with regard to clinical study finances.Effectively communicate with colleagues on different professional levels and across functions in an international and multi-cultural environment.Effectively seek support and guidance from the Bayer Local Organization as needed.Identification of process improvement opportunities.We would expect from youBachelor's / Master's degree in the relevant field of Business Admin / Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences or equivalent.3 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.Advanced finance knowledge desirable.Knowledge of the clinical development lifecycle / drug development process.Ability to effectively influence without hierarchical authority.Willingness to embrace change and be able to work in a changing environment.Able to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.Fluent in English.Effective written and verbal English communication skills as well as issue resolution skills are required.Effective computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and affinity to financial systems.
