This includes developing and implementing high-level security protocols, providing expert guidance on security matters, and coordinating with public and law enforcement agencies.Key Responsibilities:Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for film and TV productions, addressing potential risks and vulnerabilities.Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for production locations, sets, and studios.Advisory Role: Provide expert advice to production executives on security matters.Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.Government and Law Enforcement Coordination: Liaise with local authorities and police to ensure cooperation for production security.Technology Integration: Advise on the implementation of advanced security technologies.Asset Protection: Develop and enforce protocols for the protection of valuable production assets.Travel Security: Plan and coordinate security for high-profile cast and crew travel.Incident Management: Respond to high-level security incidents and emergencies.Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness.Compliance: Ensure all security practices comply with industry standards and legal requirements.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION - ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:Option A: 2 years of experience performing security-related work exclusively in motion picture production.Option B: 500 workdays in another crew position within motion picture production.Option C: 5 years of senior-level experience in security-related work in another industry.Additional Requirements:Licensed by the SIA (Close Protection preferred) with specialized training in film industry security.Able to travel and work on-site for extended durations.Preferred Qualifications:Higher education qualifications related to security.Over 5 years in senior security advisory roles, preferably in film and TV production.Membership of professional security organizations.Experience in the security and intelligence community.Strong understanding of security challenges specific to film and TV production environments.Desired Attributes:Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in identifying and mitigating security risks.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills
