As the Global Events Team Leader, you will report into the Global Events Director and will bring a creative and fresh approach to strategic event marketing to drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and engage current partners and clients.
You will collaborate with global, internal teams such as digital marketing, procurement, sales, and beyond, while also leading a team of Event Managers to develop and execute best-in-class events worldwide.
As a seasoned events expert, you will be highly skilled in developing event strategy, executing logistics, providing analytics, and leading a team while thriving in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage company's presence at small to large in-person and virtual events worldwide; as well as re-occurring roadshows and other events that create brand awareness and generate demand. Research sponsorship opportunities at events relevant to Acronis, secure sponsorship contracts. Project management of different types of events from start to finish, inclusive of IT conferences, webinars, tradeshows, and corporate regional events. Identify new events relevant to company's business goals. Build the Global to Local approach with Regional marketing managers team to have clear global events planning & report system for Global marketing department. Manage and/or work side-by-side with external agency partners (DMCs, MICE, BTL, production, etc.
). Cross-functional support with other departments including Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Design, Social Media, Acronis Sports Team, and PR. Manage brand activations at external events including working with Sports, Universities, and partners (events-as-a-service). Work on the event promotion with digital marketing team, including work on the messaging and communication strategy pre, during, and post event; draft and edit promotional messaging and marketing materials. Forecast and oversee event budget, work with procurement and contract team, process payments and contracts under company's internal practices. Manage all aspects of an event: from timeline to deadlines, task management, and staffing needs, including travel and accommodations, as well as securing and managing speakers, GR and VIP guests, sponsors, media and analysts. Regularly provide post-analysis of organized events with budget, leads, reports, ROI, etc.
with quarterly progress and comparison year to year. Contribute ideas and innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event and reach of business goals. Follow company's event policy with high-end standards of each detail (venues, content, design, brand, production, catering, swag, AV, etc.
). Maintain global vendors list. Support and develop Acronis Global Events Blog in English (Medium). Build & develop Internal events corporate policy together with Global Events Director & Head of PR, including newsletters & internal communications about such projects. WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) 5+ years of event management and 3+ years of people management experience. Proven track record of project management skills to lead events. Knowledge of the security space and service provider business a plus. Virtual events production experience. AV and production expertise, stage management knowledge & show production as a plus. Marketing Experience. CMP and Cvent Certified. Excellent presentation skills including oral and written communications. Ability to communicate business strategy. Understanding of lead retrieval goals and tracking, post-event analysis. Experience with Salesforce, Excel, JIRA, ADN, and Marketo, Google Analytics a plus. Virtual platforms knowledge & user experience (minimum 3 events online or hybrid with over 2-3K participants and budget over 1 million $). Fluent English (Spanish, German, French, and other languages a plus). PR or SMM experience is a plus. Large-scale contacts in international events / MICE. International event management at big IT, charity and sport events a plus. WHAT YOU BRING (PERSONAL SKILLS) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive approach. Rational thinking in a complex of problem and out of time situation. Team-oriented working attitude and understanding of different cultures, different time zones. Be able to work under short deadlines. Ability to solve problems effectively.
