B2Space is currently growing its talented team in Burgos, Spain, with x2 Mechanical Design Engineers, to join our ambitious team in the development of cutting-edge launch vehicles to deliver satellites to orbit.
You will be primarily responsible for developing mechanical/structural systems for launch vehicles and stratospheric systems.
You will be a part of our engineering team and interact with all engineering disciplines to resolve new issues as they arise.

Responsibilities: Design of mechanical parts and assembly for aerospace systems; Structural optimization; Material selection; Laboratory, ground and flight test support; Preparation of technical reports and presentations; Continuous exchanges with suppliers; Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures; Raw test data processing and analysis validation; Certification and qualification process support.
Basic Qualifications: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Aerospace or a related discipline; Required experience in Structural/Mechanical Engineering (experience in Space/Aerospace will be an advantage); Strong knowledge of structural design and understanding of structural behavior and material science; Strong knowledge of CAD systems (Siemens NX, Catia, etc.
); Knowledge of surface and solid design; Knowledge of conceptual design procedure; Strong understanding of aerospace project stages; Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and problem-solving skills; The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team, as well as autonomously; The ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment; Fluent in English.
Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience of CAD tools programming and scripting; Knowledge of continuum and solid mechanics; Knowledge of applied mathematics and physics; Understanding of orbital mechanics; Knowledge of aerospace aerodynamics design; Experience of C++ / Python / Matlab programming; Experience of laboratory, ground and flight test; Participation in certification process.
