The Continental Europe Underwriting Center in Madrid is an integral part of Chubb's EMEA business. By joining Chubb's multilingual and multiline business in Madrid, you will support small and medium sized clients (and the brokers who serve them), in their own language. The position reports directly to the Team Leader for Benelux.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting with all tasks related to underwriting, evaluating and pricing risks in accordance with Chubb guidelines and underwriting authority.Working closely with underwriting and sales teams based in the Underwriting Centre to ensure portfolio sustainability, promote our offerings, and exploit cross-selling opportunities.Reviewing and adapting underwriting offers with experienced underwriters and assisting in contract negotiations with brokers when necessary.Ensuring effective management of policies throughout their life cycle.Cooperating with internal departments such as Operations, Claims, and Small and Middle Market Segments leaders.Supporting all developments necessary to achieve our business strategies.Requirements and SkillsNative/bilingual level in Dutch.Excellent level of English (C1).Bachelor's degree in related fields.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word).Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and willingness to deliver and improve the quality of our offerings.What We Offer in Return6 months of contract with the possibility of converting into a permanent one.30+ days of vacation a year.2 days working from home option + additional flexible days.Working from home allowance.Entry time flexibility.Life and accident insurance.Meal allowance.Pension plan.Stock purchase plan.Flexible compensation scheme.Gympass Comprehensive Learning & Development offer.Integrity.
