We are seeking a Vice President, who will report into the Lead of Global Regulatory Ops - Product Delivery to support the build-out of the new Regulatory Product Owner capability, which is fundamental to the transformation of the Regulatory Change the Bank (CTB) model. In this role, you will partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk to proactively and effectively manage global regulatory change and meet the needs of our regulators/product partners whilst ensuring that critical technology assets are optimized.
As a Product Owner - Change Delivery, you will be accountable for the end-to-end change delivery of regulatory mandates across the global regulatory reporting portfolio.
Responsibilities: Accountable for the end-to-end change delivery of regulatory mandates across the global regulatory reporting portfolio.
Participate in the adoption of Agile best practices to support agile adoption across the broader organization.
Deliver change driven by large global programs with cross Line of Business impact impacting Regulatory Reports.
Lead the development process, managing and prioritizing product backlog items.
Lead the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint, adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release, identifying areas of improvement.
Accountable for approval of the services delivered by the Global Regulatory Change Execution function; specifically, requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Developments (Feature Teams), Testing, and Continuous Improvement services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Hands-on experience in adopting and executing Agile Best Practices (Confluence, Jira, Scrum) across Operations and/or Technology.
Demonstrate a good understanding of Change Management Process improvements fundamentals, implementation challenges, and opportunities for quick wins, metric implementation, and tracking.
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies - strategy & implementation.
Previous working experience as a Product Owner within Payments Regulatory Operations, Regulatory Reporting, and/or Technology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Demonstrate understanding of payments processing and as a product: SEPA, Wires, Direct Debits, FX, paper-based, clearings, ISO standards, SWIFT.
