Requirements: OH license 1 year of experience BLS ACLS NIH Teaching Hospital Experience Work Setting: Telemetry and High flow Other Details: Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels) No First-timers Floating within service line Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP's – ***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg Computerized Charting: EPIC, Required COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only No local travelers 50 miles or less Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg/Tele and Med Surg*** -Position / Specialty: PCU – Gen 8 Acute (Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels)
-Start date: Every Other week on Tuesdays
-Ratios: 1:4 all shifts
-Years of experience REQ: 1 year

-Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH

-Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed. -Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation
-Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) No
-Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No local travelers 50 miles or less
-RTO Restrictions: Greater than 3 days will require Management approval
-Guaranteed Hours: 36 hour with the possibility of picking up an extra shift each week if available
-Special Requirements:
Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, MS, Seizures, Myasthenia gravis, Other neurological issues, Craniotomies, Brain masses
Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP's – ***Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg
Work Setting: Telemetry and High flow Required
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management
Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA and Pre/Post neurosurgery
Respiratory/Thoracic: Nasal Cannula and Non-invasive airway management
Computerized Charting: EPIC, Required
