Requirements: OH License 2 years of experience BLS, ACLS, NIH PCCN preferred TNCCpreferred CCRN preferred TCRN preferred RN-BC Registered Nurse – Board Certifiedpreferred Education Bachelor of Science Nursingpreferred 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit preferred Other Details: Will accept local candidates as a temp to perm contract Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available) FLOAT POOL and will be assigned daily based on greatest patient need. Their assignment is posted outside of the locker room adjacent to our staffing office. Few Hrs to few days before reassigned location Will float to all ICU, PCU, MS, Tele units. Will float to all Toledo Market facilities if need arises. The floating to MS and PCU is often, greater than 50% of the shifts on average. Our SD is typically 1:3 days, MS 1:4 and observation 1:5. Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
