IQVIA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to manage the translation development projects of Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs). Job Summary The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of COA cultural adaptation. The ideal candidate will support the management of translation and linguistic validation projects, ensuring that all translations meet quality standards and project timelines. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities oAssist in the planning, coordination, and execution of translation and linguistic validation projects, with adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget oHelp manage the extraction, translation, and integration of content across various languages and platforms oCoordinate project meetings, draft agendas, and detailed meeting minutes oCoordinate linguist recruitment and manage vendor SOWs and trackers oCommunicate with translation vendors and linguists to ensure timely delivery and high-quality work oMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including translation glossaries, style guides, and project plans oCollaborate with instrument developers, science advisors, and / or COA managers for concept elaboration, as needed to perform translation reviews oConduct preliminary quality checks and reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency within a language and across all languages included in a study oRecord QA findings and communicate effectively with translation providers to resolve issues before project finalization and client delivery oProvide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and challenges oIdentify and resolve any issues that arise during the translation process, escalating to senior project managers when necessary oMonitor and maintain quality in project documentation, deliverables, and reports oManage multiple, parallel complex projects simultaneously oFollow company and department SOPs and WIs oPartner with other project managers to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES oBachelor's degree oMin. 3 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g. Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, International Studies) oExcellent written / verbal communication skills oFluency in English is essential, an additional language would be a strong asset oStrong grasp of project management techniques required oStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, parallel complex projects simultaneously oFamiliarity with translation and localization tools, such as TMS and CAT tools oProficient in project management software and computer skills, including MS Suite applications, Visio, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc. oAbility to follow instructions / guidelines, work independently and on own initiative oAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients with demonstrated cultural and emotional intelligence oMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of project documentation and deliverables The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
