TITLE: Transformation Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Corporate - Transformation
REPORTING TO: VP of Transformation
OFFICE LOCATION: Madrid, Spain
ROLE TYPE: Full-time, Hybrid
What you'll do:
- Join our Transformation Team to manage strategic projects of various sizes and scopes. You'll work with stakeholders across multiple functions and lines of business to achieve quality results.
- Serve as a key point of accountability to plan, direct, and coordinate large, enterprise-wide projects. Ensure goals and objectives are met successfully in line with business needs. Projects will often be highly sensitive, with broad business impact or change.
- Manage the implementation of select projects. Coordinate and track project schedules, status/milestones, and budgets/resources. Escalate and help mitigate project risks as needed.
- Deliver tailored communications to diverse audiences, from team discussions to executive presentations, in a culturally relevant and inclusive style.
Skills and Experience required to be successful:
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in Financial services or Fin Tech.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Wrike) and basic IT knowledge.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, including conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven ability in budget creation, allocation, financial forecasting, and resource management.
- Strong risk management skills, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Additional language skills are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, and time management skills.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Preferred project focus areas: Human Resources, Business Offshoring/Outsourcing, Revenue/Growth-focused initiatives, including new business or product development.
